About the Institute for Asia Human Community
The Institute for Asia Human Communit was established in 2008 for three goals: Creation for intellectual network based on Asian coexistence supported by active intellectuals; Development and Substantiality of civilian initiative track 2.5 approach between government and NGO; and Creation of comprehensive network involved with existing Asian networks.
The AHC aims at human security and non-traditional security in Asia in cooperation with the Center for Non-Traditional Security Studies (NTS Centre), Nanyang Technology University, the Asian Network for Free Elections (ANFREL), the Asia Pacific Partnership for Atrocity Prevention (APPAP) and others. Finally, the AHC adopts multi-disciplinary research composed of diverse scholars for issues on peace, human rights, conflict, poverty, development, environment, infectious disease and others.
